Savannah United strives to promote the growth of youth soccer in Savannah, Georgia as well as the surrounding communities. Savannah United West provides the best soccer programs in the Effingham and Pooler areas. Structured programs for players of all ages and ability levels. All of our coaches are licensed, experienced, and passionate about teaching the game. Robert Long

Savannah United West Girls Program Director

Awards & Recognitions: Nominated to Savannah’s All-Coastal Empire Team, Team Captain and MVP ECHS ‘96-’99, Set school and club scoring records, Best Offensive Player Award, Recognized for local volunteer efforts (Navigators Program) teaching soccer to children with disabilities, Experienced coaching in various levels of Georgia Soccer for all age groups

Degree: Bachelor of Sports Science and Exercise, Napier University, Edinburgh & National Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching.
Coaching Career: Scottish Football Association (SFA) Development Officer, Falkirk Women’s Football assistant coach, Regional Director with Challenger Sports (working with clubs in MD, PA and DE), Soccer Association of Columbia, Effingham United and Savannah United
Coaching Credentials: Scottish FA “C” License and U.S Soccer (4v4, 9v9 and 11v11).
