Recreational 6U – 15U
The Recreational Program is designed to create a fun filled, organized playing environment for players of ALL skill levels with ALL volunteer coaches. It is a place for players to be able to play with friends while experiencing the joys of playing in this beautiful game.
No Try-Outs are required!
The program runs 8-10 weeks. Practices are once per week and games are every Saturday (7-8 games per season).
To get started and register for the Recreational Program:
- Create a free Savannah United account by clicking “LOG IN” at the top right of our web page.
- Register your player
- Choose “2024 Fall Recreational Soccer” under “Programs Available”
- After completing registration, you will receive a confirmation email that contains the links to order a new uniform kit (if you have not already ordered one previously)
Coaches:
The coaches with our Recreational Program are volunteers. All our volunteer coaches complete a background check and require a SafeSport screening. We encourage members of our players’ families to consider volunteering. Volunteering as a Coach is a fantastic way to spend time with and make a positive difference in the players’ lives!
Team Formation:
Team formation is based on practice day (Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs) and location (Savannah or Wilmington Island). All requests are considered on a first come, first serve basis. Teammate/coach requests are always considered, but not guaranteed.
Game Schedule:
Game Schedule for the season will be released 1 to 2 weeks prior to the start of the season.

NEW UNIFORM KITS:
- We have partnered with Lloyd’s Soccer to provide all our club uniforms and merchandise! ALL uniforms must be purchased online from Lloyd’s Soccer and shipped directly to your home.
- NEW PLAYERS FOR FALL 2024 SEASON MUST PURCHASE A NEW UNIFORM KIT.
- Players from the 2023 Spring/Fall season(s) do not need to re-purchase a new uniform kit.
- New uniform kits are good for four (4) seasons (i.e. 2023 Spring/Fall and 2024 Spring/Fall).
- Players can NOT wear past season uniforms and will NOT be allowed to play in the games if they do not have a current uniform kit.
Cleats and shin guards are not included, but they are REQUIRED to play.

Program Cost:
Registration fee is $100.00, plus uniform kit purchase if needed (includes: player insurance, GA Soccer registration, administration fee, field rental, and referee fee).
